Russia stays on the women´s throne

(ww) The women´s final match of the 2010 European Water Polo Championships here in Zagreb, Croatia was clearly dominated by World´s number three Russia. Tonight head coach Aleksandar Kabanov´s players gained a pretty easy 11-6 (3-1, 3-3, 2-1, 3-1) victory against Greece, when seven players scored on the Russia side. Russia won the third European title in row, while 2004 Olympic Games runners-up Greece took their medal in European Championships.
