Olympic gold medallist Netherlands has announced a mixture of experienced players and even three newcomers for the upcoming FINA World Championships to be held 18 July to 2 August in Rome, Italy. Seven of 13 Olympic gold medallists are left for the 16-nation-event in the Italians capital; new faces are 16-year-old Nomi Stomphorst, Sabrina van der Sloot and second goalkeeper Anne Heinis.

At last weekend´s Dutch trophy in Eindhoven, Netherlands head coach Mauro Maugeri´s players finished second, beating Canada and Hungary with only one loss to World champion USA.
