Victorian Tigers gained a 50-50 record from their trip to Western Australia with two wins apiece in the National Water Polo League of Australia. Bicton Pool proved a dumping ground with double losses for the men and women to the high-flying Fremantle Mariners men and Marlins women but wins were achieved against UWA Torpedoes men and women yesterday.
The Tigers men romped home 18-2 while the women closed out their weekend with a 12-7 victory. KFC Queensland Breakers finished their bumpy trip south with wins against Hunter Hurricanes in Newcastle, the men succeeding 9-5 and the women 16-9.
